What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide analytics.
How we use cookies
SMMPlugin uses a minimal set of cookies. The ones strictly necessary to operate the service are always on; analytics cookies load only after you accept them in the cookie banner:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sb-* | Supabase authentication session — keeps you logged in to account.smmplugin.com (essential) | Session / 1 week |
| __vercel_* | Vercel edge network routing and performance (essential) | Session |
| _ga / _ga_* | Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics. Loaded ONLY if you accept analytics in the banner. | Up to 2 years |
| ph_* (PostHog) | PostHog — product analytics + session replay (text inputs masked) to see how the interface is used. Loaded ONLY if you accept analytics in the banner. EU-hosted. | Up to 1 year |
What we do NOT use cookies for
- Advertising or retargeting
- Cross-site tracking
- Social media tracking pixels
- Selling or sharing your data with third parties for marketing
Analytics (Google Analytics) is used only with your consent, to measure aggregate, anonymous usage — never for advertising. You can decline it and the site works the same.
Managing cookies
Essential cookies keep you logged in to the dashboard — blocking them will prevent that. Analytics cookies are optional: decline them in the banner (or clear them in your browser) and the site keeps working normally. The marketing pages (smmplugin.com) require no cookies to function.
You can manage cookies in your browser settings. Here are links to instructions for common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
